教材分析
本課主要學習cucumber，tomato，potato，carrot，onion五個蔬菜名稱以及各自單複數形式，通過學習學生能夠簡單對這幾樣蔬菜進行描述，如:The cucumbers are fresh and tender. 在學習中，學生能夠培養起健康飲食，多吃蔬菜、水果，少吃油炸等不健康食物。
學情分析
四年級的學生已經接觸過一年的英語，掌握了基本的口語交際能力，同學之間能夠進行簡單的會話。本課充分利用生活中的實物，激發學生的學習興趣，讓他們在所創設的情境中能夠更好地融入到課堂教學中，從而將所學內容熟練運用到生活中。
教學目標
1、能夠說出自己喜歡的蔬菜: I like tomatoes/ potatoes/carrots...
2、能簡單描述出所學蔬菜的特點，如：The potatoes are big and tasty. The cucumbers arefresh and tende.
3、培養學生多食蔬菜水果的意識, 讓他們明白新鮮的蔬菜水果是健康食品，應該多吃；肉類應適量，少吃或不吃油炸的垃圾食品。
教學重點和難點
1． 三會（聽說讀）單詞：potato, tomato, onion, cucumber, carrot.
2． 單詞potato , tomato的複數形式。
教學過程
一、Greetings
1、Hello !How are you?
2、Free talk
T：How many animals do you know？
S1：sheep，hen，cow，horse，goat，lamb ….
二Warming up
1、 sing a song“Mary has a little lamb”
2、 ask“Do you like vegetables ?” 、“What vegetable do you know ?”
三、Presentation
1、A riddle for you : it is white ; it has two long ears . What is it ? 從而引出rabbit ，再接著問“What do rabbits like to eat ?學生回答：“ Rabbits like to eat carrots . ”carrot是新授的第一個單詞, carrots ,carrots, yummy, yummy, yummy.學生有感情地跟讀。
2、I like carrots . They are yummy , orange and long . What is long , too ?從而巧妙地引入cucumber 。They are green.
3、教學onion.
a．運用一個黑袋子製造懸念，把2個洋蔥放入不透明的袋子裡，鼓勵學生 touch ，smell and guess，
b. 讓學生補全單詞onion. 讓學生數一數袋中的onions。說一說：onions, onions, smelly, smelly , smelly.
4、繼續運用guess引入並教學tomato與potato
（1）教學tomato.
a.出示不完整的`詞彙 tom _ t _,讓學生根據單詞的發音把單詞補完整：tomato 並把詞彙貼在黑板上。b.拿出事先準備好的放在盤子裡的三個番茄，問：How many tomatoes? 讓學生數一數，說出單詞的複數形式。教師強調tomato變複數形式後加es, 並補全黑板上的單詞tomatoes. 讓學生邊說邊做動作：Tomatoes, tomatoes, juicy, juicy, juicy.
（2）教學potato
(3)指出tomato和potato這兩個詞複數的特殊變化方式：末尾加es
四、Practice
1、Let’s chant.
開啟錄音，讓學生根據黑板上留下的蔬菜圖片和單詞來理解chant. 學生邊打拍子邊說。
2、Play games
五、Consolidation and extension
1．指著黑板上的蔬菜問：What do you like? 讓學生說出自己喜歡的蔬菜並能運用所學的形容詞來進行簡單的描述：I like tomatoes. They are juicy and red…..
2．讓學生自由交談他們所喜歡的蔬菜。
3．vegetables and fruit are healthy food. They are green food. We should eat more.
