(一)、興趣訓練法
現代心理學之父皮亞傑說：“所有智力方面的工作都要依賴於興趣”。有研究表明：“國小階段正是情感性學習的關鍵時期。”這階段兒童的學習活動帶有很大程度的情緒化傾向，當兒童對學習有濃厚的興趣、好奇心和強烈的求知慾望時，不僅能產生情感遷移，而且會使注意力特別集中和持久。在聽力訓練中，注重形式的多樣性，材料的趣味性，緊緊“抓住”學生的耳朵。兒童與遊戲有著天然的聯絡，形式多樣的遊戲是激發學生學習興趣行之有效的方法，聽力訓練中游戲的採用適合國小生愛玩的天性，寓教於樂。
1.聽詞面，猜詞語
課前，教師將寫有所猜單詞的詞面交給值日學生，該生回去自己讀熟，第二天讀給全班同學聽，讓大家猜。
2.演雙簧
讓兩組學生分別準備對話，一組學生在前面表演動作和口型，另一組在後面配音。其他學生通過看和聽來理解他們的對話內容。
3.看錄影學配音
選取難度合適的錄影讓學生看，先視聽，再反覆聽，讓學生聽懂，然後關掉聲音，讓學生嘗試配音。
4.聽錄音做動作
可以由老師或請一位學生當小老師來發指令，其他同學來做動作。
一種遊戲可有多種練習內容，一個內容也可有多種遊戲形式，但教師應注意幾點：其一，遊戲能激發學生的興趣，並使課堂教學多樣化;其二，遊戲形式為學習內容服務，切實達到在玩中學、在活動中練的目的;其三，遊戲應快速進行，做法與規則應交待清楚，並給予示範;其四，競賽性的遊戲，應對獲勝者給予不同形式的表揚。
(二)、任務型訓練法
該方法要求學生在聽懂的基礎上，利用輸入語言資訊去完成一項或多項任務，這些任務是教師圍繞聽力材料所提供的語言情景和語言資訊預先設計的，通過任務的完成和此後的評價來檢驗學生的理解程度。
1、聽錄音，畫圖
聽錄音畫圖的方法事通過訓練培養學生空間定位能力和想象能力，關於指路的對話和短文等比較適合用此方法。
教師讓兩名學生到黑板上畫圖，其他學生準備好筆和紙，第一遍預聽內容，第二遍開始畫畫，第三遍檢驗“畫作”，然後全班一起進行評價。
2、聽後判斷正誤或回答問題。
此題通常為短文或對話，主要培養學生通過聽來抓主要資訊的能力，適合有一定詞彙量和分析理解能力的學生訓練。
3、聽錄音補充留言條等
教師選用部分應用文體作為聽力材料，如留言條、書信等，既培養學生資訊轉換能力，又強化四會技能相互滲透，即聽是說和寫的基礎，說和寫是聽的提高。
(三)、聽寫法
聽寫是訓練聽力的有效方法。從字母、單詞到句子、短文都可做聽寫練習，學生只有全神貫注地聽，聽清其意，才可能寫正確。國小英語聽寫訓練形式是多種多樣的，學生既可聽錄音寫，也可聽老師或同學說的內容去寫。題型有聽音判斷、聽音填空、聽音完成句子、聽音選擇、聽音回答問題等。為了不影響國小生學習英語的氣氛，聽寫練習最好在鞏固課、複習課或綜合課的鞏固教學環節進行。要限制聽寫時間，講究檢查方法，掌握聽的效果，培養學生自學自檢的習慣。
