Conversation1： Student and his history professor
學生去找professor問關於research paper裡面的resource的事情。Professor 提到了 first resource & second resource。並且舉例告訴了學生各是什麼樣的資訊來源，像一些Letters, lectures, data.學生提到自己的topic是要寫immigrants in US,裡面會涉及到work and settlements，並且要與Germany 和France進行比較。 Professor提醒學生要注意兩種resource的結合運用。
Lecture1： Ants ‘work allocation
先講了insects的基本生活習性，後面具體講到ants colony. Ants會有一個queen去做一些評估分配，重點提到了ants’ work allocation, 有去patrolling，有去forage,還有一些for maintenance，他們會based on their current conditions 去改變和調整。然後詳細講解了ants怎麼去patrolling,怎麼去forage.並且通過一些他們的完成度可以去看他們更適合哪個role。但是這種習慣只適用於這種ants,每種都有their own different ways.
Lecture2： Brain function
講了brain 在我們體內的重要性，並且有不同的functions的體現。提到了一種重要作用是FMRI (magnetic resonance imaging),對於memory有重要影響。提到了另一個要素prefrontal cortex,對於具體memorize的作用分成2種type,有對language 和meaning的影響。
Conversation2： Student and professor
professor 找學生說他的club的事情。學生的cooking club不太合乎規定，需要填一些paper來達到official club的規定。學生用另外一個hiking club的例子來講專業正規的club的那些規模裝置問教授都是怎麼來的。Professor說了申請後就可以，並且質疑了學生的cooking club不能只邀請自己的friends & classmates參加，要面向更多的群體;並且要確定meeting location。學生說都在計劃中。
Lecture3：Various paper of artwork
先提到了water color對於artwork的作用。其中有一個重要特性是flute. 如果想要artwork more adorable,要選擇light 性質的color. 有一些特殊的paper有fludsive material 影響。後面提到了digital technique的2種特徵，可以spread all over the world，另外比較好preserve.教授讓學生keep in mind什麼樣的'artwork要選什麼樣的paper.
Lecture4：Sand dunes
先講到soil的一些特性。具體提到了sand dune. 一般sand dune的out layer是比較dry, less moisture並且比較鬆的。Inside layer 是相反的。講到了desert裡面關於sounds的一些特徵。中間有與學生的對話，學生用自己的宿舍作為例子說了關於echo的一些解釋。
