中國國家統計局19日公佈資料顯示，2015年中國勞動年齡人口連續第4年下降，老齡化的勢頭進一步加速。目前每10箇中國人中，就有1個是65歲以上的老人，每6個國人中，就有將近1個人年齡在60歲以上。

自2012年起，下滑的人口出生率導致中國勞動年齡人口數量連年下降。2012年，中國勞動年齡人口占總人口的比重為69.2%，而到2015年這一比例已降至66.3%。這種人口變化對我國社會產生了多方面的影響，我國也在去年底出臺了“全面二孩”政策。
勞動力絕對量下降的另一面是中國老齡化的嚴峻形勢。本次公佈的資料顯示，60週歲及以上人口2.22億人，佔總人口的`16.1%;65歲及以上人口近1.44億人，佔10.5%。
