Step 1Review 第一步複習(時間:8分鐘)

開展自由交談活動,複習邀請、應答及打電話用語,培養學生的交際能力。複習動物名稱,引出新單詞,為匯入新課作準備。

1. (教師要求學生模擬電話會話,邀請他人蔘加活動,複習、鞏固Topic 2所學知識。)

T: Please use these sentence patterns to talk freely. Then I’ll ask several pairs to act out their conversations in the front.

Example:

S1: Hello!

S2: Hello! May I speak to S1?

S1: This is S1. Who’s this?

S2: Hi, S1. This is S2. Are you free tomorrow?

S1: Yes. What’s up?

S2: Would you like to go shopping with me?

S1: Yes, I’d love to. What would you like to buy?

S2: How about buying some drinks?

S1: Good idea. See you tomorrow.

S2: See you.

2. (複習學過的動物英文名稱,為匯入新課作準備。)

T: Now let’s go over the names of animals we have learned. Please tell me one by one.

(教師拿出一些動物的圖片,首先展示一張狗的圖片,然後一一展示其他動物的圖片讓學生說出這些動物的英文名稱,並引出關於動物的新單詞。)

S3: Dog.

S4: Rabbit.

S5: Mouse.

S6: Fish.

S7: Cat.

T: Do you want to know more about the names of animals?

Ss: Yes. (過渡到下一步。)

Step 2Presentation 第二步呈現(時間:13分鐘)

運用課件,直觀引出新單詞,並匯入新課,呈現1a。

1. (教師利用課件展示一幅動物園的圖片,動物園中有許多種動物。)

T: Hi, boys and girls. Now, we learn some more names of animals. Let’s look at this picture. What can you see in the picture?

(學生說不出動物的英文名稱,教師幫助學生回答。)

T: We can see pandas, monkeys, lions, tigers and elephants. Where can we see them?

Ss:In the zoo. (教師幫助學生回答。)

(板書並要求學生掌握。)

2. (1)(匯入1a。讓學生聽1a錄音,並說出聽到了幾種動物以及這些動物的名稱。)

T: Now let’s listen to the tape and speak out how many kinds of animals you hear and what they are.

(2)(教師出示小黑板,讓學生熟悉問題,再聽1a錄音,並回答問題。)

T: Nice work. Please look at the small blackboard and go through these questions. Then listen again and answer these questions.

①Where would Michael and Kangkang like to go?

②What animals can they see in the zoo?

③Do they want to meet at 9 o’clock?

(3)(先讓學生相互討論,並給出答案,然後教師核對。一定要讓學生在黑板上或筆記本上寫出完整答案,培養學生的書面表達能力。)

3. (讓學生再讀1a,並挑出本段對話的關鍵詞,為下一步學生自由表演打下基礎。)

T: OK, just now we heard the dialog and watched the pictures. Now, please find out the key words of the dialog. The faster, the better.

(教師用幻燈片呈現關鍵詞。)

Step 3Consolidation 第三步鞏固(時間:5分鐘)

完成1a和1b。通過聽錄音跟讀,表演對話的形式,使學生進一步鞏固目標語言,並完成2的聽力訓練。

1. (教師再次播放1a錄音,學生跟讀。教師提醒學生注意語音和語調。)

T: Please listen to the tape and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

2. (學生兩人一組,看關鍵詞表演對話,完成1b。)

T:Act out the dialog according to the key words. Pair work.

3. (聽關於動物的描述,完成2。)

T: Listen to the descriptions of the animals and number the pictures in 2.

Step 4Practice 第四步練習(時間:13分鐘)

完成3a和3b。複習數字,匯入時間的表達方法,並通過問答的形式,達到學以致用的目的。

1. (複習數詞1-59,全班同學玩數字接龍遊戲,逢6,16,26 … 以及6的倍數擊掌而過,出錯者出局。)

T: Now. Let’s play a number game. All of you count from 1 to 59. If you meet 6, 16, 26 … or a multiple of 6, you should clap your hands. If you are wrong, you can’t go on playing the game. Are you clear? Go!

2. (1)(由上步複習匯入3a。)

(教師手舉一個時鐘。)

T: What’s this?

Ss: “時鐘”。

T: Oh. It’s a clock.(重複幾遍。)

Ss: It’s a clock.(學生跟讀。)

T: What time is it?

(板書教學新句型,並要求學生掌握。)

What time is it?

(把鍾撥到六點。)

Ss: It is six.(學生不能回答時,教師幫助。)

T: Yes. It is six o’clock.(重複幾遍,並要求學生跟讀。)

(板書並要求學生理解。)

Step 5Project 第五步綜合探究活動(時間:6分鐘)

通過做遊戲,加強學生對動物英文名稱的記憶,鞏固時間表達法,培養學生綜合運用本課目標語言的能力。完成4。

1. (做遊戲。一個同學表演一個動物的典型動作或模擬它的叫聲,其他同學猜該同學模仿的是什麼動物。完成4。)

T: Now let’s play a game. One student performs actions or makes sounds. The others guess which of the animals he/she imitates and spell the names of the animals. Now who can try first?

S1: Let me have a try.

2. (做“打時間”遊戲。教師在黑板上寫十個左右的時間,黑板前站著兩到三名學生,手持塑料錘,臺下一位同學讀出黑板上的時間,看臺上哪位同學最先敲到這個時間,打錯者出局。)

T: Let’s play a new game called“hit the time”. There are some“time”on the blackboard. One student reads the time. The students in front of the blackboard hit the time. The student who hits the wrong time will go down. Do you understand?
