整個段落語義顯得比較鬆散，沒有一個比較明確的主題句，需要考生進行總結，這種是比較難的。從去年的考題情況來看，都出現了指定的四個段落中，通常有三個段落，甚至是四個段落，都沒有明確的主題句可找的'情況。這種情況也是有捷徑可走的，比如說一個段落雖然沒有明確的主題句，但是有可能會有明確的主題詞，所謂主題詞就是在一個段落中反覆出現的那種詞語。通過反出現形成詞語中的呼應，形成語義差，這種詞語呼應也就是在段落中反覆出現的這個詞彙，至少出現在兩次三次以上的，這種詞彙，尤其在看起來貫穿了整個段落出現的詞彙，可能就是文章的主題詞了，當然包含了這個主題詞的句子很可能就是文章的主題句了。
