考研複試英語口語不能沉默一、失敗案例
小劉同學外語不錯，一直都非常自信。在面試之前他精心做了準備，希望可以展現出自己的實力。但是面試的時候，老師意外地沒有讓他用英文做自我介紹，只是用英語問了他幾個專業方面的問題，而這方面他並不熟悉。眼看面試就要接近尾聲，小劉越來越懊惱和沮喪：自己精心準備的自我介紹還沒有機會展現出來!而自己在英文方面的能力和優勢也得不到體現!終於，在老師示意他可以離開的時候，他說：“可以給我一點時間嗎?我準備了英文的自我介紹和一段經典英文詩歌，我想朗誦給各位老師聽一聽”。可是老師們只是客氣地表示欣賞，委婉地拒絕了小劉的要求，可想而知，非但精心準備的部分沒能展示，對專業知識英文表達的欠缺也嚴重影響了口試成績，結果失敗了。
【點評】面試並沒有一定的規則。你在面試前所做的'準備並不一定都用得著，而你沒有準備的東西老師未必就不會問。重要的是要靈活應對，不要刻意表現。一般進行外語口語面試的老師都是英語非常好的人，幾個回合下來大概已經可以判斷出你的發音準確與否以及口語表達水平。硬要畫蛇添足，未免給人虛假做作之感。

王同學報考吉林大學作物學專業，問題回答得相當不錯。
老師問：Can you briefly introduce yourself and give me some reasons for why you choice our university?
答：First, let me introduce myself to you. (又補I am glad to meet you) My name is XXX. I come from Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province. I have been studying in the forestry department of Shanxi Agricultural University since 2001. I am open-minded, quick in thought and very fond of history. In my spare time, I have broad interests like all the other young people, frequently I communicate with other people by making comments in the forum on line. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning.
The university is one of the most famous universities in the Shenyang province, it has massive academically environment. It develops into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, more and more people focus on it. At the time, it takes the lead among the universities with nice teaching and scientific research ability. There are teaching research experimental bases, for example, the computer center, analyzing-test center, modern education technical center and so on. Moreover, it owns many well-known professors. I am interested in all. So I hope I can enter this university. That’s all, thank you for your question.
【現身說法】
可取之處：儘管我在英語口語表達上並沒有做到最優秀，但是在考場中我沒有犯沉默這一大忌，而是儘自己最大的能力去與老師溝通，讓老師明白儘管現在的我不是最優秀的，但是我敢於去表達。同時在這一過程中，也讓老師對我純正的口語發音留下印象，所以最後還是拿到了公費。一切事在人為。
不足之處：沒有表達出我在林學這一方面的優勢，這是最大的缺點，在將近五分鐘的表達過程中沒有提到一個專業術語。
【考場支招】
口語面試中自我介紹是必須要準備的，一般包括：名字，原來畢業的院校，平時的愛好興趣，現在報考的專業，為什麼報考該專業，你對該專業的認識，簡短評價該專業的發展前景，以及準備以怎樣的態度去研究該專業等等。自我介紹最好能提前寫好、背好，大概500字左右，可陳述2～3分鐘。如果自我介紹比較充分，那麼老師對你的提問就會少一點，即使在對答中有所閃失，前面流利的英文介紹也可以保證你過關。如果你的英文水平很好，那麼這個環節確實會為你增分不少。但也要注意適度，不要過分表現。
考生和導師面對面交流時，要注意克服大部分人“啞巴外語”的障礙，不要緊張。即使你的口語很差，這時你也要表現出信心和勇氣，因為複試時坐在你對面的老師是中國人，他們會理解你和你那不純熟的中國式外語的。
大多數專業都會在考生進考場時給一份英文文獻，先讓考生閱讀某段或者某幾段，敘述大概的意思，然後老師會提一些相關問題。考生在進場拿到閱讀材料後，要利用前面考生回答問題的時間，快速瀏覽大意。在老師示意閱讀的時候，先用30秒時間對全篇進行巨集觀把握，再閱讀指定的內容，這樣效果會好很多，斷句停頓的風險就不會太大。這樣做還有一好處：在瀏覽時把一些生詞找出來，在朗讀時甚至可以直接跳過去。出國留學網預祝考生複試順利。
