複合聽寫就像常見的完形填空，挖出來很多空，應對這一題型，分三步走攻略--聽前看、聽中記、聽後補及檢查。
一、聽前看
利用讀direction的時間，快速瀏覽文章，瞭解主題，推測文章線索，增加文章熟悉度和自己自信心。文章的開頭或段首多半有主題句，尤其要抓住主題句，根據主題句預測文章的發展線索和大意。
二、聽中記
第一遍，不要急於填寫完整某個空白，最好理清思路和脈絡，填入幾個最有把握的單詞;第二遍，爭取把重要資訊都包括上，長的詞語寫個自己認識的頭，不求寫全，但最好每個空的關鍵資訊記好。第三遍，處理遺漏之處，儘量使答案完整。在聽的過程中，掌握一些速記方法：片語記每個單詞首字母，break down----BD,一定要自己看懂;長單詞記前三個字母experiment;符號記憶，多、少、等於、上升、下降;混合記憶，並可以加入中文;隨便記憶，拼音、音標都可以。在聽的過程中，注意同、近音詞辨析：Flour/flower; meat/meet;right/write;Abroad/aboard;cloud/crowd; sick/thick, 在真題中出現過的：You breathe/breath less when you sleep, her it’s picking one of thirty-one ice cream flavors/ish is acquired as the mother tongue/ton......A psychologist who has devised a scale/skill to assess how much hope a person has. 在聽的過程中，注意虛詞弱讀：冠詞、連詞、介詞等虛詞讀的較輕，在聽懂主要詞語時，要盡力捕捉弱讀的虛詞，比如：Not at home;several times a day;just as well。在聽的過程中，注意過去分詞(語法判斷)：eas social isolation is linked to stress;viduals and societies feel disadvantaged if they do not have competence in this language?;Hinderd by higher taxes and weak demand for its exports,....。在聽的過程中，注意名詞單複數(檢查判斷)：
Those qualities that make interaction with other people enjoyable would be simulated as closely as possible,......;Dr. Synder and his colleagues found that the level of hope among...;To questions regarding their job-hunting strategies and career decisions,...。在聽的過程中，注意短語聽寫：Commit suicide; sets them apart;are deprived of;is linked to
三、聽後補及檢查
檢視漏詞綴：ing、ed。錯詞：長單詞注意拼寫;短單詞注意同近音異義詞混淆。大小寫：人名、地名、國家名、節日、書等;句首字母。名詞單複數;形容詞、副詞比較級最高階;動詞時態、語態。
複合聽寫考察的比較細緻，涉及到語法層面、拼寫層面，因此基礎不好的同學需要多加練習並積累，讓自己的耳朵有所敏感，希望大家能夠在六級考試中取得勝利。
It (26)manifests itself in hatred, stereotypes, prejudice, and (27)discrimination. 26題注意第三人稱單數;27題注意拼寫，and連線的幾個詞都是偏見、歧視之類。Why would people want to be (28)uniformed about the world around them? uniform是工作服、一致的意思，前有be動詞，要注意uniform加ed. There are many explanations for intolerant attitudes, some (29)dating back to childhood. Date back to是追溯到...，同樣的還有derive from，需要注意的是形式上是現在分詞做狀語。It is likely that intolerant folks grew up (30)imitating intolerant parents and the cycle of prejudice has simply continued for (31)generations. Imitate是模仿的意思，也要注意是現在分詞的形式;generation年代、時代，注意是複數。Perhaps intolerant people are so set in their ways that they find it easier to ignore anything that might not (32)conform their limited view of life. Conform使遵守、順從的意思。Or maybe intolerant students have simply never been (33)exposed to anyone different from themselves. Be exposed to使暴露、使遭受的意思，注意固定片語的用法。You are (34)entitled to your opinion. Be entitled to有資格、有權利的.意思。As a matter of fact, (35)knowledgeable dissenters(持異議者)are important for any belief.這個不難聽出來，注意的是形容詞性的拼寫。
這篇文章總的來看，需要注意語法點是第三人稱單數;非謂語動詞頻繁出現;片語的固定用法，還有拼寫的注意。有的同學可能對非謂語動詞不熟悉，這裡簡單說一下，有三種類型的非謂語動詞--動詞不定式、過去分詞、現在分詞，這些詞最重要的一個作用是來修飾名詞，過去分詞表被動完成、現在分詞表主動進行，實在聽不清楚，按所學的語法要進行合理推理，看看正確的形式應該是什麼。

In 1976 Congress enacted the latest copyright law, (26) taking into consideration the technological developments that had occurred since the passage of the Copyright Act of 1909. 該句話中間有逗號，前半句是主句，有謂語動詞enact，因此後半句就要成為非謂語，或者是連詞引導從句，26題是現在分詞做狀語。For example, in 1909, anyone who wanted to make a single copy of a (27) literary work for personal use had to do so by hand. 文學作品，注意該詞後邊的work--工作為不可數;作品為可數名詞。The very process (28) imposed a limitation on the quantity of materials copied. ...強加於的意思，注意的是過去時態。The 1909 law did not provide full protection for films and sound recording, nor did it (29) anticipate the need to protect radio and television. 注意區分anticipate--預料和participate--參加，這兩個詞的意思和拼寫。As a result, (30) violations of the law and abuse of the intent of the law have lessened the (31) financial rewards of authors, artises, and producers. 這兩個詞比較簡單，注意的是30個是複數名詞，31是形容詞，不會拼寫的一樣要練習寫對，出原詞的機率還是有的。The 1976 Copyright Act has not prevented these abuses fully, but it has clarified the legal rights of the injured parties and given them an (32) avenue for remedy.
