連詞的概述
連詞，是一種虛詞，不能擔任一個句子成分，但可以起連線的作用，即連線詞與詞或句與句。例如：
We may be leaving today or tomorrow. 我們可能今天或明天走。(連線詞與詞)
Now I must go or I shall be late for the party. 我現在得走，否則晚會我就要遲到了。(連線句與句)
主要是包括並列連詞和從屬連詞。在句子中，連詞起連線詞與詞、短語與短語及句子和句子的`作用。它本身在句子裡不單獨做句子成分。
並列連詞：是用來連線語法地位相同的結構、相同的單詞、短語及句子。
並列連詞有：and, but, or, nor, so, for yet, however, as well as, , not also, , , still,
從屬連詞：用來引導狀語從句。
從屬連詞有：after, when, before, as, while, since, until, till, if, unless, lest, because, than, that, whether, so that, in order that, as if, as though, although, suppose that, provided, that, , now that, , in case that, on condition that
