B: I know. It is a little drab. But it’s cheap, and I can fix it up a little bit each week.

apartment:公寓。
drab: 單調乏味的;無生氣的;死氣沉沉的。
fix up: 修繕。
hackneyed:指語言陳腐的;老一套的。
