I want to be a doctor
When I was very young, my grandma was often ill. She often went to see the doctor. But it could not help her to get well. That was a problem. So I wanted to be a doctor to let my grandma be healthy.
Now I'm 15 years old. I'm studying in Wangcun Middle School in Jiangshan. My favourite person is Florence Nightingale. She is a famous nurse. And I like Henrry Norman Bethune,too. I'm sure I can be a famous doctor like them when I grow up.
I will be 20 years old. I'm going to work in a big and famous hospital. Then when I am 30 ,I'll have a hospital of my own. So I can help more people like my grandma get well all over the world . I'm sure I will,believe me!
我想成為一名醫生
在我很小的時候，奶奶經常生病。她經常去看醫生。但並沒有讓她變好。這是一個問題。所以我想成為一名醫生，讓我的奶奶變得健康。
現在我已經15歲了。我在江山王村中學學習。我最喜歡的人是弗洛倫斯·南丁格爾。她是一個著名的護士。我也喜歡亨利諾爾曼白求恩。我想我長大後能成為一個像他們那樣著名的醫生。
我將要20歲了。我要去大醫院工作。然後，當我30歲的時候，我會有自己的醫院。這樣我就可以幫助更多世界各地像我奶奶那樣的人康復。相信我，一定可以的。

Honor or disgrace wide-angle lens
Scene one: It was the last lap of the boys' 100-metre race! All the runners were trying their best to run fast. Suddenly, Wang Qiang, the runner from Class 2, fell and hurt his leg. But he didn't give up. Instead, he got up and went on running to the finishing line. All the teachers and students shouted "Come on!" to him and spoke highly of him. I think we should learn from Wang Qiang--Never give up, and try our best to do well in everything. Scene two: But out of the playground, a few of the students were talking and laughing loudly. Some students were even playing cards under the trees. It seemed that the sports meeting had nothing to do with them. Some food and drinks were not eaten or drunk up but wasted. Lots of litter could also be seen here and there. I think everyone should take an active part in the sports meeting. It is also our duty to protect the environment around us.
榮辱廣角鏡
場景一：這是男孩100米比賽最後一圈！所有的賽跑者都在盡力跑得快。突然，王強，2班的賽跑選手摔倒了，傷了腿。但他沒有放棄。相反，他站起來，跑到終點線。所有的老師和學生都喊道：“加油！”對他和高度評價他。我想我們應該向王強學習--永遠不要放棄，並且盡我們最大的努力去做每一件事。第二幕：但在操場上，有幾個學生在大聲說話，笑得很大聲。一些學生甚至在樹下打牌。看來體育會議和他們無關。有些食物和飲料不吃，也不喝，但浪費了。大量的垃圾也可以看到這裡和那裡。我認為每個人都應該積極參加體育運動會。保護我們周圍的環境也是我們的責任。

The 2008 Olympic Games, and me
The year of 2008 is getting closer and closer to us. We need to take actions from now on to prepare for the game. What we need to do most is to work on our disadvantages and shortcomings. As a student of Senior high, I can do my own part. Although I can’t transform our city into more a beautiful place on my own, I can help Beijing in small ways and encourage our classmates and people around me to follow my lead.
2008年奧運會和我
2008年離我們越來越近了，我們必須從現在開始採取行動，來為奧運會做準備。我們最需要做的，是克服缺點和改進不足之處。作為一名高中生，我們可以做我們力所能及的事情。雖然我不能光靠我自身的力量把這座城市妝點得更美麗，但我可以用自己的方式，來改變北京並且鼓勵我的同學們和我周圍的人和我一起做。

Let me take the environment for example, the atmosphere around Beijing is quite disappointing, factories and cars keep giving off exhausts into the air, we can hardly see the blue sky with our naked eyes, because the sky is covered with a thick layer of harmful substances. The sky is gray instead of blue. To our delight, the government has passed some laws of protecting the air, and we can do something useful, too. For example, whenever we go out for a long distance, ride the bike or take the buses and subways instead of taxis. You may not have a clue how it works. Of course doing that only by one person is far from enough, but we can let more people do that together. In that case the result may be more than we bargained for.
讓我以環境為例，北京周圍的大氣環境比較令人失望，工廠和汽車不斷地向空中排放廢氣，我們幾乎用肉眼看不到藍色的天空了。因為天空被一層厚厚的有害物質所覆蓋， 天空成了灰色，而不是藍色。令我們高興的是，政府已經出臺一些保護大氣環境的相關法規。我們呢，也可以做一些有用的事情。比如說，每當我們要出遠門的時候，騎自行車或乘坐公交車和地鐵來代替計程車。你可能不知道這會有什麼用。當然，只靠一個人的力量是遠遠不夠的，但是我們可以讓更多的人一起去做。 這樣的話，結果才有可能收效顯著。

Another thing we need to work on is our English skills. Teachers and parents often put great emphasis on our English skills especially listening and speaking. I want to be a volunteer in 2008, to be an interpreter. For now, I must do something helpful to improve my spoken English. Rome isn’t build in a day, so is English. It can’t be improved in a day or two. It takes time and energy. There are no shortcuts to improve your spoken English; the most productive way is to grab all opportunities around you to open your mouth. For instance, taking part in all kinds of English contests is a good way, you can meet some excellent contestants, and you can share the experience of learning and some good method of learning. I will keep participating in all English activities to polish up my English. I’m sure by the year of 2008, I will be able to master English well just as my mother tongue.
我們需要做的`另一件事，是提高我們的英語水平。老師和家長總是著重強調要提高我們的英語能力，尤其是聽力和口語方面，在2008年，我想成為一名志願者，做一名口語翻譯。現在我必須做一些有助於提高我口語的事情。“羅馬非一日建成”，英語也不可以在一、兩天內得到提高。它需要花費很多的時間和精力，在提高口語方面，沒有捷徑可走，最有效的方式就是抓住身邊的機會開口講英語。比如：參加各種英語競賽是一種很好的方式。你會遇到些非常優秀的選手，與他們交流學習體會，借鑑好的學習方法。我將繼續參加各類英語活動，來提高我的口語能力。我相信在2008年，我將會像掌握母語一樣熟練掌握英語。

My Dream
I want to be a scientist in the future. This is my dream. I must work hard for it. Scientists make great contribution to our society. We have TV, computer, train, plane, planet and many other things because of the hard work of scientists. So I want to be a great person as they are. I want to become an aerospace scientist, because I am interested in the outer space very much. The outer space is wonderful and amazing. It must be great if I can be a scientist of this field.
我的理想
將來我想成為一名科學家。這是我的夢想，我必須為之努力。科學家對社會做出了偉大貢獻。因為科學家的努力工作，我們有了電視機，電腦，火車，飛機，衛星以及很多其他東西。因此，我想成為想他們一樣偉大的人。我想成為航空科學家，因為我對外太空很感興趣。外太空是美妙而又神奇的。如果我能成為這個領域的科學家一定很棒。
