教學物件分析：
同學通過Module 4的學習，初步接觸感知了以下動詞的過去式：called,was,were,did,，在Unit 12還接觸到了picked,said,asked,told,answered,put.。句型：Did youshe…?。由於這十個詞中不規則的動詞過去式佔了大半，老師沒有歸納總結動詞過去式的構成規則。六年級的小朋友通過幾年的英語學習，有一定的動詞詞彙的積累，並學習了三種時態：一般現在時、現在進行時和一般將來時。
教學內容分析：
Unit 13是Module 5 The Past 的`第一篇課文。文章內容較長，主要以談論What did you do ?為主，出現較多規則或不規則動詞過去式，有一定難度，但情景性較強。
教學戰略：
靈活處置教材，把最後一段放到第二課時，使同學有更多時間接受大量滾動式的資訊輸入，並通過歌曲、小詩等活潑多樣的形式，練透重、難點，更進一步感知動詞的過去式和其構成規律。通過課文的自然出現、做練習、做任務提高同學聽、說、讀、寫的能力和小組合作、自主探究學習的能力。
