Call a truce

Didi Chuxing, a Chinese mobile transportation platform, has denied rumors about merging with Uber Technologies. A Bloomberg report previously claimed that investors wanted the companies to call a truce, since the two have been competing to become China’s top ride-hailing app. Both have been pouring money into expanding their services and attracting customers, by offering low-cost promotional deals. Neither company would confirm a deal had been struck.

滴滴出行近日否認了要和優步合併的傳言。此前，彭博的一份報告指出，投資方希望兩家公司停戰。優步和滴滴出行一直在競爭成為中國叫車應用軟體行業的老大，兩家公司提供低價優惠，在擴張業務和吸引客戶方面投入了鉅額資金。兩家公司都沒有確認相關的合併交易。
