【活動目標】
1.在對聖誕節和春節的不同慶祝方式的比較中，認識並學習諸多與節日相關的詞彙。
2.在對系列慶祝活動中，瞭解西方的節日文化和飲食文化。
3.培養幼兒對英語學習的一種新的認識，使幼兒對英語學習的興趣不只停留在語言符號的表層上，而是渴望去探索支撐語言的西方思想文化。
【活動過程】
一、Chinese和English
1.教師用英文描述兩張不同特徵的`臉，啟發幼兒畫出來。
P1ease draw two has black hair, yellow skin and black eyes. The other has brown hair, white skin, gray eyes and a bigger nose. The two face you drawn, one with a bigger nose is an English face, and the other is a Chinese face.
They come from the different countries and speak the different languages.
2.教師出示多張中國人和英國人的圖片。讓幼兒仔細觀察，啟發幼兒得出結論：中英兩國人的外貌特徵不同。
3.鼓勵幼兒用英文描述自己的畫，講述中英兩國人的外貌特徵。
二、介紹節日
1.播放有關春節和聖誕節節日慶祝過程的音像資料。讓幼兒在觀察兩個節日不同慶祝方式的同時，熟悉Christmas Day和Spring Festival這兩個詞語。
2.幼兒按意願分成聖誕組和春節組參加模擬慶祝活動。
The big day for Chinese is the Spring Festival, but for English is the Christmas Day. We have two teams, one is Christmas Day Team and the other is Spring Festival can choose the team you want to join in. Then we will start our celebration.
三、模擬過節
1.節日的氣氛準備
(1)教師指導聖誕組幼兒用廢舊物品製作聖誕禮物，製作過程中學習詞語Christmas gift(聖誕禮物)，並鼓勵幼兒說出各種美工工具的英文名稱。
(2)教師指導春節組幼兒作對聯，反覆再現詞語couplets(對聯)。
(3)將製作好的聖誕禮物掛在Christmas tree(聖誕樹)上，對聯貼在教室門的兩側。
Let’s make lots of Christmas gifts, Christmas Day Team, then we will decorate the Christmas trees. Spring Festival Team, we will make some couplets and put them on both sides of the door.
2.節日的特別嘉賓
(1)教師裝扮成聖誕老)~(Father Christmas)，組織聖誕組幼兒在聖誕樹下唱英文歌曲《聖誕夜之歌》，然後互贈禮物(上一活動中製作的禮物)，彼此祝福"Merry Christmas"
(2)春節組幼兒在“踩氣球”的遊戲中，模擬放鞭炮(fire crackers)的情景。然後，彼此祝福“恭喜發財，萬事如意”。
Everybody of Christmas Day Team give the Christmas gift to another one, then say"Merry Christmas". However, the children of Spring Festival Team play the game"Stepping on the balloon". You pretend playing the fire crackers and give your best wishes to others.
3.節日的美食
(1)教師出示多種食物，要求幼兒一 一說出食物的英文名稱(餃子dumpling、麵包bread、麵條noodle、黃油butter、土司toast和烤雞roast chicken等)。
(2)幼兒思考：在上述食物中哪種是春節一定要吃的，哪種是聖誕節一定要吃的。
(3)引導幼兒體驗自助餐(buffet dinner)的用餐形式。教師指導幼兒取適量的自己喜歡的食物，放在盤子裡。在取食物的過程中，教師逐一和幼兒交流：What do you like eating? I like eating dumpling/noodle.
(4)用餐之前請幼兒選擇餐具：
筷子(chopsticks)和刀叉(knife and fork)。先讓幼兒嘗試使用各種餐具，然後教師演示正確的使用方法。同時，為幼兒介紹吃西餐的用餐禮儀。
(5)請幼兒盡情品嚐節日美食。
In China，we must eat dumplings in Spring Festival. In England they must eat the roast chicken. Chinese use chopsticks to have dinner, but English use knife and fork to eat the ough, Chinese and English have the different food, we are all very happy together with the whole family.
