在四級作文寫作中，突出、強調觀點的方式通常有兩種，對立式及反駁式。對立式觀點可使用如下句型：“there is some truth in both arguments. but i think the advantages of XX overweigh the disadvantages. in addition to the above-mentioned negative effects it might bring about, XX also may……”“however, other people stand on a different ground. they consider it harmful to do x. they firmly point out that ……”
而反駁式則要首先批駁作者認為的錯誤觀點，可使用“many people argue that……by saying that, they mean ……”“there might be some element of truth in these people’s belief. but if we consider it in depth, we will feel no reservation to conclude that……there are a number of reasons behind my belief.”等強調錶達觀點。
