kind of.注意，不是a kind of 或 kinds of 。a kind of / kinds of 後面跟名詞是表示種類。今天的要講的 of一般在口語中使用，後面可以接名詞、形容詞或動詞，意思相當於somewhat, more or less，就是“有些，有點兒”的意思，表示達到某種程度，又不太確定。
第一種，kind of後面接名詞。
He is kind of a fool.
他有點兒傻。
前面我們講了英語口語表達：no-brainer，
配圖上的帥哥不屑一顧的說，
It's kind of a no brainer.
這有些簡單。
I'm sorry I can't tell you; it's kind of a secret.
對不起，我不能告訴你，這有點祕密哦。
第二種，kind of後面接形容詞。
I'm kind of hungry.
我有些餓了。
I feel kind of tired.
我感到有點累。
This book is kind of boring.
這本書有點無聊。
第三種，kind of後面接動詞。
I kind of thought you might have forgotten.
我有點兒以為你可能已經忘了。
She kind of hopes to be invited.
她有點兒希望能受到邀請。
He is kind of weird, but I kind of like him.
他有點兒怪怪的，但是我有點兒喜歡他。
前面半句kind of接形容詞，後面半句kind of接動詞。
kind of 還可以用在短句對話中，
- Are you interested?
- Well, kind of.
- 你感興趣嗎?
- 有點兒。
另外，我們還經常聽到一個口語表達，sort of，其實是和 kind of 一個意思。以上例句也都可以用sort of來替換。
例子：
It sort of makes sense the way he explains it, but I still don't really understand.
他解釋得有點兒道理，但是我還是沒能真正理解。
最後補充一點，在日益簡化的口語中，kind of 和 sort of 還常常被簡化成，kinda 和 sorta. I'm kinda hungry. He's sorta weird.
