一、Arithmetic算術詞彙
算術類題目中，整數概念、百分比和描述統計這三類GMAT數學題目所佔比例穩居前三並在數值上遠超其他型別的題目。
整數概念
1、整數：integer，whole number
2、因子：factor or divisor
3、Divisible.可以被整除的
4、multiple 倍數
5、Perfect cube 完全立方數
6、the greatest common divisor 最大公約數：幾個數所公有的最大因子稱最大公約數，諸如：48與36的公因子有1，2，3，4，6，12，其中12為最大公約數。
7、the least common multiple最小公倍數：幾個數所公有的最小倍數稱最小公倍數，諸如：3，7和14的最小公倍數為42。
8、商和餘數：quotients and remainders：餘數和商都可以為0
9、奇數和偶數：odd and even integers：奇數和偶數都可以是負數;零一定是偶數
10、質數和合數：prime numbers and composite numbers：除了1和其本身外,還有其他因子的數叫合數。最小的質數為2，最小的合數為4，在討論質數和合數時，都指正數。1和0既不是質數，也不是合數。

x n意味著the nth power of x。例如：64 is the 6th power of 2。2 is a 6th root of 64。

百分比描述
1、比率與比例：ratio and proportion
一個比率ratio可以表示成許多方式，例如：the ratio of 2 to 3可以被表達為2 to 3，2：3，或者2/3。注意比率中的中項的順序是重要的，即2 to 3和3 to 2不同。A proportion is a statement that two ratios are equal。例如：2/3=8/12是一個proportion。
2、百分比：percent
Percent means per hundred or number out of 100。
在考題中經常會問到從某一數量到另一數量百分比的增加或減少。首先算出增加或減少的量，然後除以原來的那個量，即“from”或“than”後面的量。
統計概念詞彙：
1.平均數(average or arithmetic mean)：幾個數相加然後除以個數得出的數就是平均值。
2.中數(median)：就是一列數按照大小排序，位於中間的那個數，求中位數要切記六字真言：“先排序，後取中“。如果個數是奇數那麼中數就是中間那個數，如果個數是偶數，那麼中數就是中間兩個數的平均值。如果個數很多不確定，那麼低百分之五十的物件所對準的那個數就是中數。這一部分出現難題比較多，要特別注意。
3.眾數(mode)：一組數中的眾數是指出現頻率最高的數。
4.值域(range)：一組資料，其中最大數減去最小數所得的差就是該組資料的範圍，這個範圍強調的差值，不是區間。表明數的分佈的量，其被定義為最大值減最小值的.差。
5.標準差(standard deviation) 就是先求平均值，再算每一項與平均值的差的平方和，最後除以個數，在開方就是標準差。反應的是資料波動性，標準差越大，說明這組資料越層次不齊，高起低伏比較大，反之，就說明這組資料比較接近，統一整齊。
6.期望(expectation):期望就是算術平均值，用大寫字母E表示。
二、Elementary Algebra基本代數詞彙
1、有關數學運算
