【用法說明】
1. adopt表示“收養”時，指法律意義上的.正式收養，若指一般的認養，則用foster。
2. 漢語中的“養子(女)”說成英語是adopted son (daughter)，但是“養父母”卻是adoptive parents (father, mother)。但若用foster(養育的，收養的)則沒有此區別，如可說a foster child(養子)，a foster father(養父)。
