A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day, a small opening appeared; he sat and watched the cocoon for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. But it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.

Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and fast action didn’t understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were nature’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If nature allowed us to go through our lives without any difficulties, it would weaken or even disable would not be as strong as what we could have been and we could never fly.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others’ shoes. If you feel that it hurt you, it probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can’t go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Please send this message to those people who mean something to you. And if you don’t, don’t worry, nothing bad will happen to you, you will just miss out on the opportunity to brighten someone’s day with this message.

Optimism and pessimism are both powerful forces, and each of us must choose which we want to shape our outlook and our expectations. There is enough good and bad in everyone's life-amplesorrow and happiness, sufficient joy and pain-to find a rational basis for either optimism or pessimism. We can choose to laugh or cry, bless or 's our decision: From which perspective do we want to view life? Will we look up in hope or down in despair?

An optimistic attitude is not a luxury;it's a way you look at life will determine how you feel, how you perform, and how well you will get along with other ersely, negative thoughts, attitudes, and expectations feed on themselves; they become a self-fulfilling imism creates a dismal place where no one wants to live.

Optimism diverts our attention away from negativism and channels it into positive, constructive thinking. When you're an optimist, you're more concerned with problem-solving than with useless carping about issues. In fact, without optimist, issues as big and ongoing as poverty have no hope of solution. It takes a dreamer-someone with hopelessly optimistic ideas, great persistence, and unlimited confidence-to tackle a problem that big. It's your choice.
