定義：Ambient advertising refers to an advertising strategy which using creative and unexpected ways to advertise the products.
例子：A snack bar make a deal with the train company and post the advertisement on the train, so compared with ads on books and magazines, people are more likely to see these ads and they may come to the snack bar to have something to eat. Snack shop in the train station also prints ads on the train tickets, in this way more customers will come to the shop.
Task 5
問題：The girl is going to give a gift to her advisor who helped her a lot within her study. But she doesn't know what gift to choose.
解決方案1：She can but some coffee tickets.
缺點1：She would like to send something special to her advisor. But the coffee tickets are not special.
解決方案2：She is going to buy a book which her advisor is interested in.

話題： Two effects of temperature regulation of plants
要點1：Help plants survive in cold weather.
例子1：A kind of plants keep their flowers and leaves warm in early spring, when the weather is still cold, and its warm temperature can melt the snow.
要點2: Help plants reproduce.
例子2: Another plants keep themselves warm to attract insects which help carry pollen. When it is cold, insects will have a rest on these flowers, and in this way the plants are then pollinated.

內容回憶：學生來找社會學老師，說自己做圖書館volunteer，圖書大甩賣。老師說這個跟你的assignment有什麼關係呢?學生說自己可以在volunteer的過程中觀察他人。然後他們就開始聊assignment，老師說其實人與人的interaction可以分成兩種，一種叫unfocused interaction，比如點點頭，微笑，沒有直接的交流。一種是focused interaction，比如兩個人開始講話。後來圍繞這個探討。

托福考試寫作真題閱讀： 菊石(Ammonites，軟體動物門頭足綱的一個亞綱)是因為小行星撞擊後的'一系列影響而滅絕的。
1. 酸雨。小行星撞擊後的酸雨，使漂浮在海平面上的菊石幼體死亡，所以導致了其滅絕。
2. 浮游生物(zooplankton)的死亡。小行星撞擊使大量浮游生物死亡，而浮游生物是菊石的主要食物來源，菊石因食物匱乏而滅絕。
3. 氧氣缺乏。小行星撞擊造成氧氣缺乏，所以菊石無法生存。
聽力：這三個理論都是不可信的。
1. 酸雨雖然會對菊石造成影響，但當時還有另一種生活在海里的frog，這種frog至今還在地球上存在，如果酸雨對菊石造成影響的話，這種frog也應該會滅絕，但是並沒有。
2. 浮游生物(zooplankton)只是菊石食物的一小部分，在所有菊石種類中，只有個別種類以浮游生物為食，所以浮游生物的滅絕不會對大部分的菊石造成影響，所以該理論不成立。
3. 菊石有特殊的身體組織，可以讓它在低氧的環境下也能夠呼吸生存，所以氧氣缺乏也不是導致菊石滅絕的可靠原因。
