一、教材分析
本冊教材共分10個模組，內含一個期末複習模組。每個模組仍以前數冊慣例，各分二個單元。一般情況下，第一單元呈現本模組所要學習的語言內容，第二單元提供若干任務型練習，包括一首歌謠或小詩。歌謠和小詩的學習，目的有三：一是培養學生的語感和節奏感；二是提高發音的正確性；三是通過這些英語國家兒童所熟知的歌謠，介紹一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用單詞，不要求學生在歌謠之外學會使用。在本冊教材中，我們會認識一些英語國家的新朋友，還會隨著玲玲去英國旅行，和大明一起去美國走親戚。同時，我們還要開始比較系統地複習歸納單詞的讀音，從而初步瞭解英語語音的一些規則。

Module 6 Travel 談論旅遊見聞；描述某個地方的方位。句型Did you go with ?

Module 7 Communications學習如何傳送電子郵件，通過電子郵件進行交流。句型Let’s send an email to Dad k on ‘Email”。 Write your message. I am working very hard .I will be home at seven o’clock .
Module 8 Discussion 學習如何給別人提建議，通過對事物的比較發表自己的看法。What do you suggest ? What about ? Why don’t you ?How about ?
Module 9 Letters from Abroad描述過去的動作和狀態；學習不同國家的文化；談論過去和將來發生的事情。句型The man wore women’s clothes actors told lots of jokes. We laughed a lot are going to see you in three weeks.

Module 10 Preparations談論旅行前的準備，談論旅行經歷。Where are you going to go ? What are you going to do ? When are you going to do ? Who’s going to go with you ?
REVIEW MODULE Story Time 聽懂並講述一個簡單的故事，複習鞏固學過的知識。
