由於國內的英文學習中較少出現類似雅思小作文中的圖表，同學們對於趨勢描述方式、極值表達等詞並不熟悉。但作為英美國家課程中常用的圖表敘述，小作文表達必不可少，下面小編就為大家總結各類雅思小作文中常見的.描述性詞彙：
1、趨勢性詞彙
上升名詞類: increase, rise, growth, jump, surge
下降名詞類: decrease, decline, fall, reduction, drop
波動名詞類: fluctuation
修飾名詞的形容詞: slight, slow, gradual, steady, rapid, moderate, significant, sharp, dramatic, drastic
2、極值類詞彙和表達
最高點: reach the peak/top/highest point
Increase to the peak/top/highest point(所有上升類的動詞都可以替換掉increase)
最低點: reach the bottom/lowest point
drop to the bottom/lowest point(所有下降類的動詞都可以替換掉drop)
佔的最多: occupy/make up/take up/account for the largest proportion/number/percentage of …
佔的最少: occupy/make up/take up/account for the smallest proportion/number/percentage of…
