一、基本解題思路
配對題基本解題思路是要解決兩組概念之間的關係。題目中給出多個題乾和選項，考生根據錄音把選項和題幹進行有機搭配。
二、重要性
配對題是選擇題的一種變形。在雅思聽力中，配對題所佔的比例並不大，也不是每一次考試都考到，但是考的時候一定是連續的4題以上，最多的是連續7題。曾經在2010年1月9日的考試中有2個section都考到了這種題型，也就是一共有11題。總的來看配對題所佔比例為6.4%，也就是平均考2.5題(40題中)左右。這種題型是希望拿高分的同學必不可少的一關。
三、解題步驟
1. 迅速審題，閱讀題乾和選項，確定可能搭配關係。
2. 當錄音開始時，以題幹為序，留意選項資訊。
3. 聽題過程中不要急於配對，可以吧聽到的相關資訊簡單的note-taking，注在卷子的空白處，再利用最後10分鐘進行檢查配對，保證正確率。
四、難點及應對
·閱讀速度
既然配對題是選擇題的一種變題，第一個難點自然和選擇題類似。對於如何在有限的考試時間看明白大量的資訊，是所有考生在考雅思聽力所必須面臨的一道難關。

通過這道題，我們發現一共6道配對題，總共需要閱讀字數不過才30多個字，許多人就會有疑問了，這些怎麼可能看不完呢?這裡我們要注意：對於配對題的最大難度不是在能不能看完這些資訊，而是如何能夠找到這些資訊的關鍵點，以及內部聯絡。因此，建議考生在審題的.時候一定要仔細閱讀選項，並且如果可能的話將選項進行適度的解釋，也就是在選項旁標註中文或者符號，這個步驟我稱之為：譯。如這邊選項中的7個選項分別為：2倍、分開的入口、數字減少、空間擴大、替換、加固、臨時關門。

此題選項較少，因此對於閱讀速度要求並不是很高，但是分析清楚選項，我們會發現三個選項的重點為：在帳篷內、在中間、按要求。
·語速
配對題的語速往往較快，並且每題的答案出現的位置較近，因此很有可能在聽力的過程中聽漏資訊。提醒考生在平時的練習中應該刻意去練習對於語速較快的內容的把握。值得我們注意的是在配對題中，題幹資訊往往並不是很多，並且會在聽力材料中讀出來。

When it comes to our tents, these are equipped to the highest standard. We really do think of every essential detail. 這裡每一個答案之間的間隔很小，在聽力過程中很有可能會聽漏而導致失分。這邊需要把握住的就是題幹資訊，通過這題我們可以很清楚的發現，題幹資訊基本上都是名詞的內容，而在文字答案中這些資訊並沒有任何的變動。這步我稱之為：定。
·同義詞互換
當能夠合理的定位到資訊點後，同義詞互換就是我們最終需要去找到的資訊。

和上面一篇一樣這邊的幾個定位詞——seats, wheelchair和lift不難找到。通過這幾個詞語我們也能順理成章的找到答案詞語——fewer, twice, gone，通過同義詞互換答案也很快出來了，分別是——數字減少C，2倍A和替換E。

Some of you may be interested to know that the library is offering specialised training sessions on writing a dissertation. Obviously this is not relevant to those of you who are undergraduates; it is just for postgraduates. Your department will discuss the planning stage of the dissertation - i.e. what you're going to do - with you and we will focus on the structure of it. However, the training will also include some time on the computers. I realise most of you know how to organise files but we can show you the different ways to run data programmes. Your tutors will tell you at the outset how to set out the chapters they require but you will need to ask them how they would like you to organise the bibliography because it varies depending on your subject area. When you've got something together the trainer here will took through the draft version for you to see if it's OK. And, one final point, for those of you who have registered from abroad, we can offer individual sessions on dissertations if you feel you need them. If you require language lessons then they are available from the International Centre next to the Law Department.

總的來說，配對題在考試裡面算是比較難的一種型別，由於語速以及陷阱比較隱蔽，導致丟分很多。因此，建議考生在做這種題目的時候要做好譯(選項的翻譯)，定(題乾的定位)和換(聽力時的同意互換)，做對這些難題也不是不可能。
