Personally, I would say I will definitely go to a family dinner. First off, having dinner with families can help me to connect more with my families. I would prefer to go back home to spend time with my family in a dinner party.
I was working in a strange city far away from home and rarely get a chance to be with my brothers and sisters. I sometimes felt a little bit homesick. Hence that I want to go back to meet up with my family.
