表示乏味的的'詞還有dull，boring等，他們的區別如下：
tedious 側重指文章、演講或演出等冗長乏味，也可指環境等的單調、沉悶，缺乏活力，使感到不舒服。
dull 指缺乏新鮮、吸引力或情趣而顯得乏味、沉悶。
boring 指無精打采或不滿意的感覺。
monotonous 指沒有變化，重複單調的。
tiresome 指某物因看起來無窮無盡或毫無變化而令人厭倦。
