1. abnormal adj. 不正常的；反常的，變態的
這個詞其實就是ab+normal組合而來的，其中normal就是指正常的，ab是一個詞綴，表示“相反，變壞，離去”。我們可以想想看，英語中帶ab詞綴的還有哪些呢？比如abuse 濫用，就是ab+use組成，還有abstain 棄權，節制，也是ab+stain構成。

2. abolish v. 廢除；消滅
說到取消、廢除神馬的，可能有童鞋想到cancel這個詞了，那我們來做個小比較吧~
abolish 這個詞比較正式，多用來指廢除某個法律規定、制度或習俗等。
cancel 它的用途更廣泛些，可以指航班、比賽、活動、合同、計劃等。
Plural marriage was abolished after the foundation of PRC.
新中國成立後廢除了一夫多妻制。
3. abrupt adj. 突然的，唐突的
abrupt表示突然的同sudden、unexpected。除此之外，它還可以指（地形）起伏的。
