英語一直是我最頭痛的一門功課。因為在我看來有無數個毫無規律的英語單詞要背誦，還有那莫名其妙的聽力，都令我煩惱不已。但這學期我發現我似乎對這門討厭的功課產生了興趣。
事情的起因是爸爸出差到北京，給我帶回了一臺讀書郎英語同步讀書機。我立刻被它漂亮的外表吸引住了，因為它像一臺高檔的膝上型電腦。開啟讀書機，左邊是音標，分為母音、子音；右邊是26個英語字母。最大的好處是它可以下載我上課用的PEP教材。媽媽讓我開啟英語課本，翻到第1頁，把讀書機中的頁碼調至相同頁碼，我再用那神奇的訊號筆一點，點到哪兒，讀書機就發出標準的讀音，點第二遍時它就譯出這個單詞的中文含義，真是太神奇了！
剛開始幾天，我每天一放學就抱著這臺讀書郎，漸漸地新鮮勁也就過去了。媽媽看準了時機，立即調動我的積極性，把老師當天教的英語單詞分批教我，並慢慢告訴我這個字母在單詞中所發的音。這樣，日積月累，慢慢地我對有些字母的發音規律也有所掌握。正像媽媽所說的.那樣，一旦你會讀準這個單詞，那麼這個單詞的一半已被記住，只要稍一用心，就可記住全部。媽媽告訴我：學習英語要循序漸進，因為記憶會衰減，所以學單詞時，先學一遍，過一會兒複習一遍，到第二天再複習一遍，一星期、一個月內再次複習，這樣能把短期記憶變成長期記憶。這種方法叫作思馬德記憶。按照媽媽所說的方法，我試了一下。哎，果真有效果！漸漸地我對背誦單詞有點竅門了。這個學期六個單元所要求的四會單詞，我全部做到了會聽、說、讀、寫。
因為背誦單詞有了明顯的進步，得到了老師的表揚，我的學習熱情倍增，對聽力也產生了興趣。現在我拿到聽力課文，不象以前那樣手忙腳亂，而是先把課文、圖案看一遍。如果是選擇題，我會看清圖案，瞭解這幾幅圖的大致含義，再聽錄音。我現在能抓住幾個重點詞語與圖案進行對照，基本能做到準確無誤。對閱讀也同樣，抓住幾個關鍵詞語和下面的問題進行對照。

In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic. People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be involved in an accident. With the development of industry and population expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.
One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages. For example, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

“大聲跟我讀——A”鏡頭緩緩拉近，明亮的燈光下一個小姑娘正興致勃勃地當著小老師，告訴你吧，那個老師就是我，至於學生是誰呢？哈，賣個關子，讓我慢慢道來。
最近我發現媽媽的英語個別發音很不標準，我心中不禁萌發出一個念頭—搞個速成培訓班教媽媽學英語。我左哄右騙，死拉硬纏，終於把媽媽這個學生給逼上了梁山，於是我的“teacth”生涯就開始了。
一複習鞏固
根據我的教學大綱，決定先幫媽媽複習鞏固一下英文字母。我讓媽媽先背一遍字母歌，不背不知道，一聽嚇一跳，媽媽有好幾個字母發音大走樣，我只好讓媽媽按照我的要求把那些字母每個讀30遍。開始媽媽很虛心，可到後來就不耐煩了說：“我那麼聰明只要讀三遍就好了，哪用讀那麼多遍呀？”看來媽媽還真是死鴨子—嘴硬，我得改變策略，硬的不行來軟的，我陪著笑臉說：“媽媽，熟能生巧，業精於勤，你讀得不錯，如果能鞏固鞏固，就更好了。”這招還真管用，服軟不服硬的媽媽又認真學了起來，不久字母就搞定了。
二單詞訓練
學完字母，當然是學單詞啦！我先教媽媽最簡單的，我本想看媽媽的好戲，沒曾想媽媽又快又標準地“吐”出這幾個單詞，嗯，看來媽媽的基礎還不差，這幾個單詞還難不倒她嗎！我壞笑著決定給媽媽增加一點難度，果然不出我所料，我教的這幾個單詞，媽媽都沒學過，發音就更別提多走樣了。我反覆糾正，可媽媽就是我行我素，正當我苦思冥想著如何糾正時，瞧見媽媽偷偷摸摸地在本子上寫著什麼，我很奇怪，趁媽媽不注意之時，一把搶過本子一看，差點笑掉大牙，原來媽媽把“waterbbottle”寫成了“我偷抱頭”，英譯中了，我看了把肚子都笑疼了，我邊學邊把本子還給媽媽，媽用這個笨辦法搞定了不少短語和單詞呢！
三完美考核
眼看我對媽媽的培訓就快告一段落了，我決定給媽媽來一次出其不意的考試。一天中午，我把媽媽叫到客廳，開始考試，這一考媽媽就露出了廬山真面目，她回答的牛頭不對馬嘴。唉！姜雖然是老的辣，但還是要認真呀！我甩下一句話：“三心二意，一事無成，一定要認真複習。”以後只要媽媽有空，就總瞧見媽媽在複習，功夫不負有心人，有一天，媽媽來接我，我見機連忙又考起媽媽，媽媽一愣，然後流利地回答起來，聽得出來，那些單詞短語媽媽也是花了心思的。
我教會了媽媽學英語，我的教學生涯也告一段落了，接下來我又要為我的速成培訓班物色新學生了。

到了上課老師把我的作業練習冊見查了一遍，有一道題錯了，到了休息時間我改完錯，老師說單詞和單詞混在一起了，老師還說放學叫我寫完再走，但是我很快就寫完了。就回家了，我一定要認真寫作業。
