2、興趣是最好的老師。英語課中多是一些情景對話，我們常常設定一個情境，讓學生進入其中，以表演的形式學習新知，樂在其中。如李傑，葛宇，逗號，潘建如，李浪，張朋順，周揚名，吳家佩，花尉揩，沈培歡等同學，經常表演和惟妙惟肖，讓人忍俊不禁的同時，其他同學也加深了對課文的理解。

1、“凡事預則立，不預則廢”。預習是首要的環節。預習的目的在於對將要學習的知識有個總體的瞭解，以便上課時有目的的聽講，集中精力解決好新課的重點和難點。所以，學習新課前必須預習。預習時要逐詞逐句閱讀相關學習內容，聯絡以前所學過的相關知識，深刻理解本節課知識的重點和難點，畫出哪些地方不會，並及時做好記錄，為下一節上課做好充分的思想基礎。良好的預習習慣的養成，並不是一朝一夕的努力就行了，需要每天堅持預習。同時，在預習的時候應做到看、做、思相結合，做到眼到、手到、心到，不能把預習當作任務來完成，而要將它看作是學習新知識的一個重要環節來看待。
2、上課是學生掌握知識的主戰場。上課的時候，課前要準備好所需用的課本、筆記本、作業本、工具書等，課上要認真專注地聽老師的講解和同學們的發言，要積極和老師配合，隨時跟上老師的思路和節奏，積極回答老師提出的每一個問題，對分組討論的問題要積極踴妖，敢於發表自己的意見和見解。同時，要養成一個善於記錄課堂筆記的習慣，要記錄學習的要點、學習新得、以及老師對教材的補充和延伸，以便逐步加深和更正自己對新知識的理解，不斷提高自己的.自學能力。

4、善於自我提問的習慣。從某種意義上講，學習的過程就是一個不斷提出問題並不斷解決問題的過程。善於提出問題，是自學能力強的標誌之一。5、“不恥下問”的習慣。有些同學有了問題，自己解決不了，又死要面子，不肯問人，這樣問題越積越多，學習就會陷入被動局面。
6、利用工具書的習慣。要解決那些自己不能解決的問題，除了向老師、家長和同學請教外，還可以利用工具書求得解答。學生都要備有必要的工具書，特別是《新華字典》《英語詞典》。
