First let me introduce myself to you. My name is Wendy. I am 17 years old, and was born in Jinan, Shandong Province. I was graduated from ** Middle School.

I am always studying hard, and I have achieved lots of fruitful results, including many certifications.

I am optimistic and open-minded. I have made a lots of good friends in my school.

In my spare time, I like reading and listening to the music. Sometimes, I also like to play basketball.

I hope I have the chance to enter the school. And I also believe that where there is a will, there is a way.

In my spare time, I like to read novels. I think reading could enlarge my knowledge. As for novels, I could imagine whatever I like such as a well-known scientist or a kung-fu master. In addition to reading, I also like to play PC games. A lot of grownups think playing PC games hinders the students from learning. But I think PC games could motivate me to learn something such as English or favorite course is English because I think it is interesting to say one thing via different sounds. I wish my English could be improved in the next four years and be able to speak fluent English in the future.

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to popular music and collecting stamps. My favorite sports are swimming in summer and skating in winter.

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
