邏輯條理清楚，發展充分。每次託福寫作中作者在講寫作時總是把它和閱讀相對照。各位考生要想拿到獨立寫作滿分必須真正理解“八股文”的結構，千萬不要寫中國式的“八股文”，而應寫出“美式八股文”。

考生的論據一定要具體、明確，且對論點有支援作用，而不能空洞和泛泛而談。

(3)出題形式趨於多樣化。這一變革顯示了對提大學聯考生的實際運用語言能力的重視，同時也要求考生要在多寫多練上下功夫，這樣對才能在作文考試中奪取。提高筆頭表達能力是關鍵：我們希望廣大考生要在切實提高英語寫作水平上下功夫，不能靠扣題、押題或背誦一些短文應付考試，其結果必然與希望的相差甚遠。背誦是學習英語的一種好方法，但僅靠背誦來提高英語寫作水平是不夠的。寫作水平的提高還是要靠親自動筆寫，多寫多練，把學到的語言知識運用到寫作中去。
