it was the second day of our summer holiday. i felt good. i felt i am free. i had a lot of time to do things i like. my parents are in zhongshan. so i live alone but i don’t feel lonely. but i didn’t do something special. i stayed at home and watched tv. oh! i wrote an english diary. it was my homework. today, i have slept for 14 hours. i thought i was very tired. it was time for dinner. i must go! i am very hungry.

as is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. they increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. in other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. this is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. it is true that we can derive benefits from good books. however, bad books will do us more harm than good.
3my daily life

though my daily life is extremely monotonous, i try hard to adapt myself to it. why? because i intend to be a good student. i wish to render service to my country.
i get up at six o’clock every day. after i wash my face and brush my teeth, i begin to review my lessons. i go to school at seven o’clock.
after school is over, i return home. we usually have supper at seven o’ i begin to do my homework. i want to finish it before i go to bed.

it was the first day of our summer holiday. all of us were very happy. why? because we have one months to do things we love to do. we are ough we have some homework. but we can finish them in several days. and the rest time we can make good use of. my god! we have been very tired after hard studying. in winter holidays, i want to have full sleepand eat good food in order to replenish myself. last but not the least, i will have a good rest.

today i found time was a cruel thing. whatever man is, time always goes on. it won’t stay to wait for somebody. you can’t use anything to exchange time. time is also a fair thing. although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. today i found i hadn’t enough time. although i have more than a-month holiday, but i found i had a lot of things to do. i had a lot of homework to do and i am essential to complete the homework as soon as i have time.

7月28日 星期四 多雲今天，我和哥哥到金牛湖去玩，我們先是騎自行車看風景，那裡的自行車很特別，有一人的，有兩人的，有三人的，還有四人的呢，我們騎的是三人的，騎了一大圈。之後，我們又去坐快艇。
今天玩的很快活。
8月7日 星期日 晴三個錘子：我們家有三個錘子，大錘子愛護家，燈壞了，他就去修，米沒了，他就去買，他每天都給花澆水，讓花兒美麗的開放，他就是爸爸。第二個錘子，在家裡打掃衛生，炒菜燒飯，她就是媽媽。第三個錘子，喜歡把家當成玩具，在家裡蹦蹦跳跳，跑來跑去，那就是我。
8月15日 星期一 晴我有一個朋友，她的名字叫文文，她長得胖胖的'，頭髮短短的，眼睛亮亮大大的，嘴巴小小，腦袋圓圓的，裙子漂漂亮亮的。
8月17日 星期三 多雲投稿：老師叫我把寫得好的兩篇日記投出去，我們先在家裡把日記打下來，再去打印出來，我們把列印好的日記帶到郵局買了兩個信封，兩張郵票，把日記放進信封裡，貼好郵票，寫好地址，放到郵箱裡就完成了。
8月20日 星期六 晴 我終於有了一張我自己的小床，它跟一般的床可不一樣哦，它有兩層，下面一層是做作業的，上面一層是睡覺的，還有櫥櫃，可以放書，掛衣服。旁邊有個梯子，睡覺要爬梯子上去。
它的顏色很好看，是木頭本來的色彩。它身上有好多疤，都是天然的。
8月28日 星期日 晴常州恐龍圓；今天，我和媽媽一起去常州恐龍圓玩，我們先到博物館去參觀，然後坐小船去侏羅紀，那裡面好恐怖好可怕，最後從一個很高的地方滑下去，很刺激。後來，我們又去看了立體電影，開了玩具車，我還在像一個樹根的房子裡買了一個恐龍吉祥物。
