萬聖節小報資料：萬聖節吃糖的原因萬聖節源自古代凱爾特民族(Celtic)的`新年節慶，此時也是祭祀亡魂的時刻，在避免惡靈干擾的同時，也以食物祭拜祖靈和善靈以祈平安渡過嚴冬。當晚小孩會穿上化妝服，戴上面具，挨家挨戶收集糖果。
萬聖節當晚是一年裡最“鬧鬼”的時候，當天晚上的習俗便是孩子們提著南瓜燈，穿著各式各樣的仿妖魔鬼怪的服飾挨家挨戶的敲門並大喊：“Trick or Treat!”(意為不請客就搗亂)，主人家(可能同樣穿著恐怖服裝)便會派出一些糖果、朱古力或是小禮物;要是不給糖的話，小孩子們就會進行各種惡作劇，比如把垃圾倒進你的家裡等等。
這是萬聖節的一個有趣內容“Trickortreat”，這習俗始於公元九世紀的歐洲基督教會。到底萬聖節為什麼要吃糖呢?下面小編為您介紹。
那時的11月2日，被基督徒們稱為“ALLSOULSDAY”(萬靈之日)。在這一天，信徒們跋涉於僻壤鄉間，挨村挨戶乞討用麵粉及葡萄乾製成的“靈魂之餅”。據說捐贈糕餅的人家都相信教會僧人的祈禱，期待由此得到上帝的佑護，讓死去的親人早日進入天堂。
這種挨家乞討的傳統傳至當今竟演變成了孩子們提著南瓜燈籠挨家討糖吃的遊戲。見面時，打扮成鬼精靈模樣的孩子們千篇一律地都要發出“不請吃就搗亂”的威脅，而主人自然不敢怠慢，連聲說“請吃!請吃!”同時把糖果放進孩子們隨身攜帶的大口袋裡。
