詞彙，又稱語彙，是一種語言裡所有的(或特定範圍的)詞和固定短語的總和。例如漢語詞彙、英語詞彙或一般詞彙、基本詞彙、文言詞彙、方言詞彙等;還可以指某一個人或某一作品所用的詞和固定短語的總和，如“老舍的詞彙”、“《魯迅全集》的詞彙”等等。詞彙是詞的集合體，詞彙和詞的關係是集體與個體的關係，好比樹林和樹的'關係。
