快速閱讀,顧名思義,就是要求考生能夠在規定時間內迅速地閱讀完文章並正確解答文章後的題目。新六級考試的快速閱讀和四級一樣一般採用大小標題結合的文章模式,但它的總體難度高於新四級的快速閱讀,主要體現在三個方面,下面就和yjbys網小編一起來了解下吧!

2016年英語六級快速閱讀技巧

1、從文章的篇幅來看,六級快速閱讀長度為1300-1400字,而四級只有1000-1200字,文章的資訊量加大,這就對閱讀的速度和快速查詢資訊的能力提出了更高的要求;

2、從命題的形式來看,新六級快速閱讀明顯加大了主觀性題目的考查。在四級快速閱讀中,判斷題Y/N/NG或者選擇題有7道,補全資訊的填空題有3道,而在六級考試中,判斷題或選擇題只有4道,填空題卻多達6道,很顯然六級考試更能反映一個學生快速閱讀的真實能力;

3、從題目本身的難易程度來看,部分新六級的補全資訊填空題涉及到對資訊的理解和整合,不全是象四級那樣“直接照抄原文”就行了,這也是四六級快速閱讀的一個重要區別。

快速閱讀量大,要在這麼短的時間內保證準確率主要取決於能否快速而準確的將題目資訊在原文中定位,這就需要考生掌握一些實用有效的資訊定位技巧。

  一、題目順序基本與行文順序一致

一般情況下,快速閱讀的題目順序與原文的`行文順序是基本保持一致的(偶爾會有個別題目順序會顛倒),把握這一規律,將有助於節省我們尋讀的時間,提高定位資訊的速度和準確度。

【例 1】( 07-6)

【原文】

Many people today find themselves in unfulfilling work situations. [1] In fact, one in four workers is dissatisfied with their current job, according to the recent “Plans for 2004”r career path may be financially rewarding, but it doesn’t meet their emotional, social or creative needs. They’re stuck, unhappy, and have no idea what to do about it, expect move to another job.

 二、留意小標題和首尾段

定位資訊時,首先要留意各個小標題及該標題下的首尾段,這樣往往可以迅速縮小搜尋範圍,更加快速準確地找到題目資訊的出處。

【例 2】(07-6-4)

【原文】

Step 1: Willingness to do something different.

Breaking the cycle of doing what you have always done is one of the most difficult tasks for job seekers. Many find it difficult to steer away from a career path or make a change, even if it doesn’t feel right.

【題目】

4. Many people find it difficult to make up their minds whether to change their career path.

【解析】 [Y]。本題的定位資訊是 change career path,瀏覽小標題發現 Step1中的 something different正好與 change相匹配,故很快將本題出處定位在該小標題下,進一步尋讀發現第二句即是本題答案的出處。

 三、留意題幹中的時間、數量等數字資訊處

如果題目中包含數字,可以成為很好的題眼,因為數字在文章中一般是以阿拉伯數字的形式出現,比較容易尋找,方便快速定位。

【例 3】 (07-6-1)

【原文】

In fact, one in four workers is dissatisfied with their current job, according to the recent “Plans for 2004”survey.

【題目】

1. According to the recent “Plans for 2004”survey, most people are unhappy with their current jobs.

【解析】 [N]。本題的定位資訊是 Plans for 2004,數字 2004很容易讓我們將題目出處鎖定在第一段第二句。

 四、留意人名、地名、機構名稱等專有名詞

專有名詞都是以大寫字母開頭,與數字資訊一樣,它們在文章中顯得比較突出,比較容易尋找,方便快速定位。但需要注意的是,有時候,該專有名詞可能就是文章所討論的主題,在文章中反覆出現,那麼就不適宜用來充當定位資訊。

【例 4】(新 06-12-1)

Lance Bass of N Sync was supposed to be the third to make the $20 million trip, but he did not join the three-man crew as they blasted off on October 30, 2002, due to lack of payment.

  五、留意比較關係

形容詞、副詞的比較級或最高階,或是表示比較的詞語或結構,經常會被作為快速閱讀的設題題眼,查讀時需重點留意,尤其是題目中含有表示比較關係的詞語時。

【原文】

The Most Expensive Vacation

… Each spacecraft requires millions of pounds of fuel to take off into space, which makes them expensive to launch. One pound of payload ( 有效載重 ) costs about $10,000 to put into Earth’s orbit.
