Dear Sir or Madam,
I am very grateful to have received the letter from your company informing my acceptance as your clerk. Thank you very much for your kind offer of this precious opportunity!
However，I have to say sorry for not being able to accept it. There are at least two personal reasons. To be^in with, I feel I can’t adapt myself to working in a company. My introvert personality makes me not quite good at dealing with business and people. What is more, I have attended the entrance examination to graduate school this January and was confirmed to be accepted as a graduate student by Beijing Normal University last week, so I decided to pursue further study. A Letter to the University President about the Canteen Service on Campus
January 12th, 2002
Dear Mr. President,
My name is Li Ming, a junior student from the Department of Psychology. I am writing this letter to put forward some opinions about the Canteen Service on Campus.
The canteen service seems to be getting worse and worse ever since last semester. The past semester has witnessed a sharp increase in the price of an ordinary vegetable dish from RMB 1.5 to RMB 3.5，while the food quantity has been on the decline. In addition, the dining hall is too small to hold the increasing number of students and teaching staff. What is worse，the waiters and waitresses are so indifferent that they would rather stand still than help the diners.
Dining hall is connected with the daily life of every student on campus. I hope you can help to restore our confidence in the canteen service.
