In the first day I entered the college, he has left a deep impression on me, be permeated with a strong learning atmosphere, that I was deeply touched by the strong desire to do better, the meticulous care let me feel kind, let me feel the warmth of home, in the back of the lecture, I have a new understanding, the connotation of the college I realize maybe learning here is not the most important, should first learn here is how to be a person, how to improve themselves. Heaven is healthy, the gentleman to strive for self-improvement, terrain kun, the gentleman should be beneficial. We learn how to be a man, a gentleman and a way of harmony. Through the more profound understanding of the importance of learning to do things. Maybe my understanding is very shallow, but I can learn more deeply in the future life and study.

I heard and saw and thought of things I hadn't heard, seen or thought about before. It turns out that universities can learn more than just knowledge. How none in your school, as long as you are willing to learn, as long as the teacher to teach, you can learn something, maybe after entering society, also is such, as long as have a heart of progress, can reap.

I may not be the best here, but I can do better in my future work. Maybe I was just a grain of sand before, but I believe that after the birth of this college, I will become a pearl. I believe that maybe I was once confused, in this school is back lit the flame in my heart, maybe I used to think the future bleak, but I believe that after school, my future will be wonderful!

Xx vocational and technical college, this gives me new hope, this new school that nurtures me, he will make my future more bright; This garden full of learning atmosphere will enable me to learn more and improve my personality.

Teachers

i have been a student for 12 years. during this time, i have gained knowledge, met different people, and shaped my character.teachers are an important factor.they are the guides, friends, help providers, and even the enemies. in short, they are like actors playing different roles on the platform. some of them are so impressive and unique that they are still clear in my mind.

mr. he is a conscientious man with a pair of black framed glasses.he goes to great lengths to provide us with knowledge.the more, the better.we are nailed on seats for 55 minutes rather than 45 minutes in one class, because in his mental die tionary there is no conception of "class over" until the teacher of the net class smiles at him at the door. with a book and a piece of chalk in his hands, he looks like a well armed soldier, forcing us to take notes from the very first minute to the last. we have to fi our eyes on the blackboard for fear of missing a single word. so his class is really a trial to us. however, i must admit he is so logical and consistent in thinking that he provides us with knowledge in the clearest and the simplest way. the light of wisdom is shining behind those two black frames. therefore,he is very welcome.

things seem quite different in miss wang's class. most of us are daydreaming! the way she speaksthe specific pauses and rhythmmakes it difficult for us to concentrate on anything she says. her voice is like a lullaby that could drive a crying baby to sleep.the rest are obsessed with novels or homework.they are having a difficult time. they droop their heads as low as possible so as not to be detected.meanwhile, some other students are fascinated by the scenery outside the window.it is unfair to miss wang to some etent. once ! even saw tears of anger and depression in her eyes. but her class is really very boring. she teaches politics, sometimes with reference to philosophy and economics. that should have interested us, but she just repeats what the tetbook says and provides no eamples in reality. and seldom does she display quotations and illustrations.miss wang is supposed to improve her way of teaching.

mr. zhang is my chinese teacher. he is in a gray shirt all through the seasons so i always think the color of gray suits him best. he is a reserved man of average height, with little smile on his face. he is casual with everything and never forces us to take notes or to do many assignments. in his class, everyone feels relaed. his low sounding voice flows quietly through our minds, like streams, washing our hearts up with the literary sentences.he strides in and out of the classroom with a blow of breeze. up to now, i still remember his powerful handwriting. i like his personality, though nowadays chinese does not receive so much emphasis as other subjects. but with his guidance, i have learned to appreciate the poems and essays of great vitality.

as i grow up, many teachers have helped me. professors and lecturers give us more information about society, science and culture. they are fied in my mind. on the other hand, teachers should also communicate more with students. thus a better and more efficient relationship could be established.

This bar chart shows us the distribution of awarded degrees among five different fields of study in 20xx.

We can see that the distribution of bachelor's degrees in the fields of social science, education, natural sciences, humanities, business, and accounting is, more or less, even. However, when it comes to Masters and Doctorates, a very large proportion goes to the field of education and natural sciences respectively. What is worse, the humanities have the smaller or smallest number of graduates. Take the Masters for example, humanities has only ten percent of the total number of degrees, which is the smallest portion.

Why is there such an uneven distribution of degrees when it comes to Masters or Doctorates. In other words, why do more students choose education for their Master's degree and the natural sciences for their Doctorate's degrees? The answer, I think, lies in the fact that it is easier to find jobs after graduation if they pursue these two degrees. A Master in education, for instance, may find it easier to find a teaching post, possibly, in a college or, certainly, in a high school. Astudent with a Doctorate degree in the natural sciences may find it easier to hold a position either in a research institute, a college, or a large company

across the chinese landscape, politeness is a desirable quality we have upheld for thousands of years. to some etent, good manners far outweigh other moral qualities. for any college student, who has an access to higher education, showing regard for others in manners, speech, behavior is so important that others can judge his/her moral character by it.college students are supposed to epress respect in words, by manner, by act. however, some of them fail to achieve it, which is a growing problem in this ancient land. some students are to blame for their impolite and rude attitude toward others. many children have the misfortune to be born in a disadvantageous atmosphere of developing polite habits. they should feel the pressing need to remedy these defects and learn to practice the courteous habits. in my eyes, it is a great mistake to think of courtesy as a kind of veneer or ornament rather than as a serious and practical thing. so we must act and speak politel.

Practice Makes Perfect

There is an old saying itl China: Practice makes perfect. Practice is a means and perfect is a goal. Only when you do more practice can you make things perfect. This is true not only in our learning but also in other walks of life. Take the study of English for example. Practice enables us to spell words correctly and master the rules of grammar quickly and practice also makes us hecome fluent in speaking and writing. It is ahnost impossible for a person to speak English fluently and accurately without a lot of practice. Another case in point is cooking. A good cook can prepare a delicious meah But you will not be surprised at his performance if you know how much time he has spent practising. Through practice, he then becomes an expert at cooking. It goes without saying that practice makes perfect. Only through practice can one be good at doing things. Since we have realized the importance of practice, why not put it into practice?

still, every now and then, you get guys in here asking for art. i tell them, no. no art tonight, because it鈥檚 the truth, and then these guys usually turn right around and go back the way they came, heads bowed, sometimes, but always shaking, and they leave like they鈥檙e leaving a funeral, real solemn. and they are, really--even the regulars don鈥檛 come around anymore.

when we had art, there was no room here for anything else. if you鈥檙e tired of standing around, the rumor went, just pick your feet up. they stood in line out the door, around the parking lot and back. they got food at the starvin鈥?marvin鈥檚 down the road and had picnics in the street, they had to wait so long. all just to take hold of the harness strapped to art鈥檚 back and have their turn flinging that damn midget as far as they could. we had waitresses too, the biggest waitresses available--si-foot-one the shortest of them. they broke up fights when the bouncers had trouble getting through the crowd, and they had free reign to clock any wise-ass copping a feel. it was easy to scam drinks, then, for then it was too busy for anyone to check up on you: a push here, a slide on the other end. a good bartender could clear a couple bills before he even started emptying his jar.

now there鈥檚 supposed to be room in back for a kitchen, a deli, maybe, somewhere to make sandwiches, but these new owners don鈥檛 know a thing about running a place like this. the old guy, sam, sold out long ago. his wife and two daughters left him soon after art, like they knew things were only going to pot, and sam, he cracked--put every bit of his money into land, and bought up a long tract outside palatka. i heard he tried bringing his wife back by promising to build a house, but there鈥檚 no money to build a house. all he has is land, and he likes to sit back and admire the view. i hear he鈥檚 put up a roof, perched on the ends of two-by-four鈥檚, and there he鈥檚 got a cot, a 12-gauge with no ammunition, a tool chest, a rocking chair with a cracked runner, his rottweiller, kirkegaard (the dog came with that name), matches, lantern, a coleman cooler and a sink that isn鈥檛 connected. i hear he spends his days playing fetch with kirkegaard, and before throwing out that stick, i hear he looks off into the untamed woods that is his land and thinks of when the dance floor was nothing but a sea of heads topped with waitresses like foam riding over wakes, like mermaids, the people brimming and sweating and clenching their fists, all wanting to get their hands on art, who waited for them in his bright yellow jumpsuit, grinning as if he couldn鈥檛 wait to be thrown again...

but you should have seen that little guy fly through the air--turning, i tell you, turning in the air, spinning around like a bagel, like a goddamn egg bagel on the wing. and everyone wanted a piece of him.
