1) 年、月、日、時的寫法和讀法
① 表示日期用序數詞，前面加定冠詞 e.g. 3月8日 March the eighth
② 年份一般分為兩部分讀，先讀前兩位數，再讀後兩位數 e.g. 1949 nineteen forty-nine
③ 以上時間合在一起的寫法
e.g. 1955年10月1日上午10點 10:00 a.m. October 1st, 1955
2) 分數的表示法
分數由基數詞和序數詞構成，基數詞代表分子，序數詞代表分母，除了分子為1的情況，序數詞都要用複數形式。帶分數中的整數用基數詞表示，並用and和分數隔開。
e.g. 14 one-fourths 3-25 three and two-fifths
3) 小數、百分數的表示
①?小數的表示 e.g. 6.4 six point four 12.409 twelve point four oh nine
② 表示百分數用"基數詞+percent(per cent)"形式 e.g. 50% fifty per cent

副詞和形容詞一樣,也有它的.比較級和最高階形式. 可以參考形容詞的變換形式。但以詞尾 -ly 結尾的副詞(除 early )須用 more 和 most 。

單音節副詞的比較級是在副詞後面加上 -er 構成的，最高階是在副詞後面加上 -est 構成的。

多音節副詞的比較級是在副詞的前面加上 -more 構成的。 最高階是在副詞前面加上 -most 構成的。

有些副詞的比較級和最高階形式是不規則的。

副詞的比較級和最高階用法同形容詞的比較級用法基本一樣。 最高階形式句中 the 可以省略。
