《經濟學人》是一份以報道新聞與國際關係為主的英文刊物，每週出版一期，採用雜誌專用的光面紙印刷，由倫敦的經濟學人報紙有限公司出版。雖然它的發行方式更像是週刊，但是《經濟學人》將自己定位為報紙，因此，它每一期除了提供分析與意見外，還報道整週發生的`所有重要政經新聞。
