啟動Cisco WLC後必須使用Windows中自帶軟體“超級終端”並通過console電纜登陸WLC進行配置。
隨後根據系統提示完成以下配置：

Service Interface IP Address Configuration [none][DHCP]:none ====》這裡選擇不使用DHCP服務來分配服務埠的IP地址獲得方式。我們將手工進行配置。

AP Manager Interface DHCP Server : ========》指向核心交換機，由核心交換機負責DHCP服務功能。
AP Transport Mode [Layer2] [Layer3]: Layer3 =======》選擇使用三層傳輸模式
Virtual Gateway IP Address:
Mobility/RF Group Name: mobile-P
Network Name (SSID): secure-P ========》Wlan的名稱
Allow Static IP Addresses [YES][no]: yes ======》允許手工配置IP地址
Configure a RADIUS Server now? [YES][no]: no ========》不配置Radius Server

Finally, the corresponding AP Radio types must be configured on the AP , as shown in Example 9 below. In this lab, we will be using 802.11b radios with transmit power set to 1mw in order to minimize RF interference within the lab.

當配置service port以後就可以通過WEB瀏覽器配置WLC了。

Password：cisco
Monitor 頁面中的摘要資訊，可以看到AP的數量和傳輸所使用的頻寬狀態，AP的管理地址以及WLC的名字。
Controller頁面中的`介面地址和關於VLAN和WLAN的地址。
Wireless頁面中WLC所註冊的AP，已經這個AP的名字和MAC地址。
Controller頁面中針對DHCP服務的配置，也可以將DHCP服務地址指向核心交換機。
Controller頁面中關於VLAN介面的配置
Security頁面中針對二層網路安全的AAA(授權、認證、統計)服務配置
Wlans頁面中針對無線區域網選擇安全方式
配置Radius Server的地址
