He used to say, "A little more effort and you will make it”Thanks to my dearest teacher, all my efforts paid off and finally I became a top student. Nothing is impossible to a willing heart. 一、緊扣主題突出重點
動筆之前，針對提示的文字或圖片必須先認真審題，組織內容，構思提綱，理順思路，切忌偏題，離題，東拉西扯，不得要領，一定要避免累贅繁瑣，條理不清，重點不突出的失誤。
二、表達正確文字流暢
強調使用課本上學到過的單詞、片語、佳句確保文章簡潔通順，切忌使用隨便從文曲星或詞典上找來的冷僻單詞，特別強調的是必須避免使用不規範的.中文式表達，受歡迎的作文是用詞用句實實在在，樸實無華，清晰流暢的文章。
三、結構規範時態無誤
準確判斷時態，語態的應用，不能交叉混雜，這部分則能充分反映學生的思維判斷能力，分辨清楚正確的時態、語態將為作文潤色不少。
四、單詞、標點無誤
注意單詞拼寫、標點符號，避免細節上的失誤。錯拼和自造單詞均會對成績造成不良影響。
作文成績在大學聯考中起著至關重要的作用。另外，大學聯考作文要求字數為120個以上，筆者認為控制在150字左右為妥，若字數太少會給人一種考生水平低下，草草了事的感覺，而且也無法表達清楚較深層次的思想。

前兩天，學校高年級舉行了英語演講比賽，我作為班上的代表之一，前去觀摩。
這次比賽無論是主持還是演講，都是全英文的。東看看，西看看，竟來了不少我認識的人。學校的幾位老師來做評委，還有一位外教呢！
比賽開始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡短的介紹，然後選手開始挨個兒上臺。每個人都有一份課件，上面是演講內容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語，聽得我雲裡霧裡。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距啊！不過根據課件上的英文，我還是認出了一些單詞。
選手的`情況也不同：有的一口英語說得頭頭是道，聽得人一愣一愣的；有的上了臺過於緊張，忘了詞，又下來整理整理思緒再上臺；也有的背得不錯，卻出了一點小插曲的……可謂是千姿百態。
選手們講的內容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內容各不相同。
通過這次比賽，我深切地體會到了：人外有人，天外有天。我要更加努力地學習英語喲！
