有些事情已經拖了很久卻還一拖再拖，問及理由，答曰：沒準備好，狀態不對，總之就是害怕做得不夠完美。對於這些人而言，哪怕有一丁點不完美都是不可接受的`，於是事情就一直被擱置下來。這種現象就叫perfectionist paralysis（完美主義癱瘓症）。
Perfectionist paralysis refers to the inability to start on a project, assignment, essay or any creative task due to the fear of not getting it perfectly right.
“完美主義癱瘓症”指的是因害怕無法完美地做成某事而一直未能開始某個專案（作業、論文或創造性的任務）。
